WESLEY BLAINE STEVENS

June 15, 1960 – June 5, 2024

It is with great love and fond memories that we celebrate the life of Wesley Blaine Stevens, born on June 15th, 1960, and who departed on June 5th, 2024. Wesley was predeceased by his mother, Marion Stevens (née Oliver); father, Johnny Stevens; and brother, Harold Stevens. He is survived by his brother, Vic; his wife, Laverne Stevens; Jim Stevens; his daughter, Dana Geirnaert; his grandchildren, Marson and McKenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wesley was proud to serve as a cab driver for Duffy's, a role he spoke about often. He found great joy in studying theology and astrology, sharing his knowledge with others, and creating charts for many. Later in life, Wesley received a baptism and committed himself to Jesus.

Additionally, Wesley's late brother, Harold Stevens, who passed on September 26th, 2020, will be honoured with a celebration of life. Harold is survived by his sons, Josh and Tyson Stevens.

The celebratory gathering to honour Wesley and Harold will take place on August 18th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Niakwa Country Club, 620 Niakwa Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J 2X3. This event is a testament to their impact on our lives and a chance for us to come together and celebrate their legacies.

Wesley’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.
