WALTER "BRIAN" TAIT

August 27, 1949 – October 27, 2023

It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Brian, loving uncle, cousin and friend.

Brian was predeceased by his Mom, Yeta; Dad, Walter; sisters, Dorie, Idabelle, Phyllis, and Linda; nieces, Gail and Linda; and nephew, Brad.

He leaves to mourn nephews and nieces, Felix (Pat), Tim (Dena), Donald (Judy), Rick, Bud (Kim), Garth, Scott, Curt (Robyn), Darby (Duncan), Tina, and Bobby (Jenny); as well as numerous great-nieces; great-nephews; his great-great niece; cousins; and friends.

Brian worked at Dominion Bridge for 30 years and then at Westeel for 15 years, up until his retirement in 2006.

Although Brian kept to himself, family meant everything to him and he kept every picture, card, and memorabilia ever given to him.

A private family internment will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Brookside Cemetery.

Brian, you will always be in our hearts and memories!

Brian’s family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Our sincere condolences. His sense of humour and kindness will never be forgotten. Although we had not seen Brian for a long time, there are lots of good memories of him from our younger years.
