WALTER REGINALD THOMAS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Reg, surrounded by family at the Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home, on March 7, 2019.

Reg was born to Walter and Winnifred Thomas of Victoria Beach, Mb. He was the eldest of 6 children.

Reg is survived by his wife Cheryl; children Marie(Roman), Patricia (Fred), Elizabeth, Scott (Cecilia), and Lisa (Daniel); siblings Shirley, Gail (Don), Leslie, and Lynda(Al); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Reg was predeceased by his parents; first wife Rae; brother Wayne and brother-in-law Raymond.  

Reg was a man of exemplary integrity, character, kindness, and love.

Thank you to all the Nurses and staff at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home for their loving care of Reg, especially Nurse Jennifer who sang Beatles tunes to him and brought that big beautiful smile to his face despite his difficult illness. 

A service will be held at Victoria Beach in the spring, a date will be announced in the future.
