May 27, 1941 - September 17, 2021

In loving memory

 

The long goodbye is finally over with the passing of Arthur Tonn, at an age of 80 years on September 17, 2021, at Red River Place.

 

He is predeceased by his parents, Emil and Albertine; and his sister Germine.

 

Art is survived and will be missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce; children, Darlene (Brad), Paul (Cyndi), and Christine (Scott); as well as siblings, Anette (John), Leona (Jim), Leonard, Leon and Wayne (Wanita).

 

Art had a passion for fishing and gardening.

 

A small private memorial and interment will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences in this time of sorrow to all his family and friends.  He became like my dad after my mom Germaine passed.  Art and Joyce took in two orphans and helped me become an adult.  He will always be remembered fondly and with much love.

Art loved the lake cottage, fishing, animals, gardening and his family. Your love and devotion over the years, meant a lot to us. We will miss your council. Your Loving daughter Darlene and Brad ❤

Spent so many great summers fishing either in Uncle Arts boat or in my Dad's beside Uncle Arts boat. Lots of hot nights swimming in our pools, milking my first cow, or just hanging out. You will be missed!  Angela Palidwor (niece)❤
