I just receive the news about Quang. This is such sad news! I came to Winnipeg, Canada from Sudan in 2015 and I moved to Toronto later. I met Quang at the International Centre in Winnipeg. He was a volunteer there. He was a very kind person. He helped me a lot when I just came to Canada from the language, daily activities, looking for jobs, housing to everything. As a newcomer to Canada whenever I needed something, Quang never hesitated to offer his help.
I know Quang also came to Canada as a refugee like me. We had a lot of good memories together. His willingness to help people had made his life so meaningful.
My deepest condolences are with Quang’s family during this difficult time.
Rest in peace Quang. You had a good life the way that you had chosen.
God bless you.

Condolences to Quang Tran :
I have known you since we were in the same class and at the same college, Red River Community College. Time has passed and because of life, we graduated and had our own life, Sometimes we met at Portage Place, Winnipeg, MB to drink coffee, chat and confide about life in a foreign country. However, I saw that you were sad more than happy. I often advised you to get married to comfort your old age, have a wife and children to help you when you are sick. I also knew that you were sick and had passed away to a more peaceful place. I hope you will be happy wherever you want to go. My sincere condolences to the family of Tran Hoc Quang.

Tran Hoc Quang and I were not in the same class, we were classmates in the same school, Ha Tien High School. Once upon a time, in the 70s, Quang and I often went out together and became very close friends. After Quang left Ha Tien for Canada, we were lucky to still be able to communicate through social media, in writing and through many direct conversations via Messenger. I also heard that Quang had been sick recently and had many health problems. Today, hearing the news of Quang's death is very sad news because I often sympathize with Quang's single life through his confidences. I pray that Quang finds happiness in heaven and my sincere condolences to all of Tran Hoc Quang's family. (Trần Văn Mãnh-Patrice Tran)
