It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Tammy Trowbridge of Dauphin, Manitoba at the age of 54 on October 2, 2026 at Brandon Regional Health Centre surrounded by family.

Born on July 26, 1972 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Bill and Kathy Toews, Tammy was always very charismatic and outgoing as a young child and she enjoyed the numerous family road trips with her parents and her brother Kevin growing up. When she started a family of her own, Tammy remained close to her parents in both proximity and relationally.

Tammy attended high school at John Taylor Collegiate in St. James and went on to work Superstore where she remained up until July 2022. She enjoyed the many people she worked with throughout her career.

On July 13, 1991 she married the love of her life, Jason Trowbridge, and they went on to have two beautiful girls, Miranda and Brittany. When their family continued to expand, welcoming their beloved grandchildren, Tammy and Jason decided to move to Dauphin Manitoba to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were truly the light of her life.

Tammy is known for her light-hearted nature and infectious sense of humour. She always looked on the brighter side of life and was a caring and fun-loving person towards all who knew her.

Tammy is survived by her father Bill Toews (Marge); spouse, Jason Trowbridge; children, Miranda Durston (Brett) and Brittany St. Cyr (Jamie); grandchildren Jayden, Hallie, Chloe, Seth, Brody, Tucker, Paisley, and Stevie; her brother Kevin Toews (Melissa); niece Alyssa Harding (Patrick), nephew Corey Toews (Tamara) and nephew Kristian Kiesman; and many more loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Kathy Toews.

Tammy’s last words to her father were “I love you, dad”. These words have brought him strength more than once and will be held close to his heart during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held on October 11, 2026 at 2:30pm at Maranatha Evangelical Free Church at 910 Sturgeon Road in Winnipeg.

I just read all the comments with a huge smile on my face. Reading how happy Tammy made us all. Tammy and I had many laughs and adventures. Tammy and I became friends when I moved beside her Jay and Miranda. I found this picture of the three of them, we didn't have cell phones yet so

not many candid pictures. How young and beautiful they were. Both our kids were very young and they played together often , On Saturday's Tammy came to work at the salon I worked at as a receptionist. She made the days lite and fun.

She was a great friend, and she will be missed by so many. I wish I would have connected with her in the later years. Rip dear friend, you have left a mark on so many.🥰

Tammy will be greatly missed.

I worked with her at Superstore for many, many years. Fun to work with and on many store parties and Christmas parties, we had fun times.

Tammy Tuesday's at the store were so good.

Tammy days were the best days at work! I didn't work at superstore for a long amount of time, but she made such an impact on me with her humour and her joy.

I am sending the family the biggest love and peace during this horrible time. 🖤

If you knew Tammy, you loved Tammy. I worked with Tammy at Superstore, and she was universally loved; I can't think of a single person who wouldn't smile upon seeing that Tammy was working that night. We had a lot of late nights in the cash office, laughing at whatever dumb thing we could think about. 15 years later, I still think back fondly on those moments.

She was a light for a lot of people, and she will be missed. Wherever you are now got a lot brighter.

Tammy was always a happy person and she loved to laugh. I wish I knew she was sick. I haven't seen her in years but I'm sad knowing that she isn't out there anymore. Rest well, Tammy. You'll be missed.

I am very saddened to hear this. You were the best, Tammy. Junior High wouldn"t have been nearly as fun without you. Then working together later at Superstore. Thoughts and prayers to Jason and family.

I worked with Tammy for many years at superstore she was always so kind to me, always talking to me and asking how I was, she always had a smile on her face, I still can't believe she passed away, she was a great person and will be greatly missed 😔

I remember babysitting Tammy and her brother Kevin one summer when I was just 12. She was a delightful child, and grew up to be an amazing woman, mother and grandmother. I know her parents were always proud of her and her family and the closeness between them was enviable. Gone too soon!

Our thoughts and prayers for peace go out to the family.
