RONALD “RON” JACOB UNGER
September 4, 1956 – March 14, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother Ron at the age of 68.
Ron passed peacefully on Friday, March 14th, 2025 at Riverview Palliative Care, after a brief battle with cancer.
He leaves to mourn his passing, wife Terry; brother Richard (Jennifer); twin brother Bob (Sandra); sisters, Marian and (Barry) Kate (Bruce); and many nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Jake & Elenore; his younger brother John; and his nephew Josh McDermott.
Ron was born on September 4th, 1956, 20 minutes before his brother Bob.
Ron attended and graduated from River East High School. His working career began and ended with all types of construction. At one time he owned is his own company - Midland Installations. He also had a brief stint as a stockbroker. Ron was very meticulous about all the jobs he performed; whether it was remodelling a basement, building a deck or fence, he always ensured that his customers were left happy. The finished product had to be perfect. He also spent many hours helping his siblings with their home projects.
Ron enjoyed playing golf, especially at Rossmere Golf Course. You knew Ron was on the golf course because of his big infectious laugh; he could be heard from the 1st hole to the 18th.
You will be missed brother,
brother in-law, uncle, and friend.
Rest in Peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at Springs Church - 725 Lagimodiere Blvd.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ron's name to the Children's Make a Wish Foundation.

Ron was part of our gang of friends when we were young and we made lots of good memories together. He was fun to be around, loved his music and his Mustang and his friends. So sad that he is gone.
