Derrick Vallance

DERRICK W. VALLANCE
August 25, 1958 – January 5, 2026
Our family is deeply saddened to share that Derrick Vallance unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 67.
Perhaps you knew Derrick from his youth, as a long-standing friend, through football, from years at the gym, on the golf course, at work, as your neighbour, or simply from his long walks around the neighbourhood with his beloved dog.
Memorial donations in Derrick's honor may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Children’s Hospital Foundation, his long-supported charities.
A private family service will be held.

Very sad to hear about Derrick's sudden passing. I knew Derrick from my walks in Windsor Park and always enjoyed our chats. He was so friendly to everyone and clearly adored his dogs, Cookie and Lainey. He will be greatly missed. My condolences to the family.

Dan Vallance and Family,
Sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Derrick. I would bump into Derrick a couple of times a year, usually at the Golf Dome.
We would catch up on each other’s lives and laugh about the things we did as kids.
Derrick was a kindhearted person that the world will miss.
