CHANTAL MERIE VAN ROOSE

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Chantal Merie Van Roose at the age of 35 on December 1, 2024.

She will be lovingly remembered by her Mom and Stepdad, Shirley and Stuart Derksen; Dad and Stepmom, Mike Van Roose and Tracey Vaz; along with step siblings, Carly and Marc; her daughter Cali; Grandparents, Gerald and Susan Bernier; Bert and Yvonne VanRoose; Uncle Chris Bernier; Aunt Ginette (Norm) Delaquis; Aunt Cristyna Bernier; cousins, Tyler Bernier, Gage, and Jayce Delaquis; along with numerous Great Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Chantal was born on March 30, 1989 in Winnipeg Manitoba. She attended Mother Goose Day Care until the age of 5. She attended Ecole Julie Reil, Victor Wyatt, and Dakota Collegiate. In her later years she worked at Sally Beauty where she was in her element. Beauty and Hair were her passion. If you ever had a question about a product, she was the person to ask. She also loved animals and had many pets over the years.

A Private Celebration of life will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Shared Health- Mental Health and Addictions Services or The Winnipeg Humane Society.
