HENRIETTE VERRIER

Henriette Verrier (née Laurendeau), born July 20, 1941, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, after a lengthy battle with dementia.

Henriette was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jocelyne, and her cherished son, Paul.

Left to cherish her memory and mourn her passing is her beloved husband, John; her cherished granddaughters Danielle, Nicole, Katie, and Leanne, and their significant others Kerner, Piotr, and Tyson; her beloved great-grandchildren Lily, Casimir, and Kianna; daughter-in-law Erika and son-in-law Maurice; as well as her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Henriette found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gardening and took great pride in growing her beautiful flowers, especially her gourds. She also loved driving school bus and had a special place in her heart for the children she drove over the years, enjoying the connections and smiles they brought to her days. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her granddaughters, whether gathered around the swimming pool, creating crafts together, or simply enjoying time in each other’s company.

Henriette will be remembered for the love she shared, the memories she created, and the warmth she brought to her family. Though she has left this earthly world, the love and legacy she leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Service Information:

Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 2:00 p.m. with luncheon served in the basement of St. Norbert Parish.
