So sad to hear of the loss of Wayne. We always think there will be another day to have coffee or chat...but there isn't. The time to do it is now. My sincere condolences to Wayne's family, he was a gentle man and always with a smile.  So long my friend. Lexie

I was just about ten years old, when I first met Wayne. He was a friend of my brother Brooks'. He was at our house in Russell a lot around that time, and was just joy to be around. I loved his laugh. Soft skin. As (an annoying) little kid he was one of nicest to me. Rest in peace and love Wad.

It is very sad to hear of Waynes passing.  We had many good times after our lives crossed, and I will always remember his ready smile, wit, and love of life.  My condolences to the family.

Don't remember a time not knowing Wayne. He was a friend of my older brother but as time and circumstances changed,I think to alot of us he became an older brother. I know he saved my skinny butt more than once. I know he loved Pat. I know he loved his family. I know he made a difference. Rest easy friend. Condolences to the family.

Awww.  The pictures of Wayne and Pat and Bo and Amara bring back so many memories!  Not an ordinary life...he was big in so many ways.  My favourite memory of Wayne is of him sitting in a chair in our kitchen giving 3-year old Jessica his tough look...she crawled up on his knee and asked him "Do you want to go to turch with me and my Gramma?"  I think that although she didn't know him, she saw the soft spot.  Hugs Waddell family.

My deepest condolences and prayers to family and friends of Wayne. I haven’t seen Wayne for many years. I have fond memories of him. I also grew up in Russell Manitoba. I remember him and Bob Genaille visiting at our house quite often and we would just sit around and listen to music. He was always very respectful and friendly. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Always remember the good times and share the good memories that you have of him because I’m sure that there are many. Praying for your family. May he Rest In Peace. Margaret Bauereiss (Genaille)

I am so sorry for your loss. Your dad is a favorite uncle of mine and will be missed so much. I know he is in good hands now, no pain, no sadness.  He was always so much fun, and quick with a smile, followed by a smartass comment, then a laugh.  Know you are all in my prayers, and I hope we can get together soon, and have a drink in honour of his life.  Love you all ❤
