He was predeceased by mother, Mary Beatrice Wade (nee Emberly), father Richard Casebourn Wade Sr. and brother-in-law, Robert Rehill, and Crystal McIsaac (nee Hinton).

Friends and relatives are encouraged to share memories, stories, and/or condolences for the family by using the comment section on this page.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road, (Unitarian Church).

Richard is survived by his siblings and close relatives:

Lori Rehill (niece Allison Rehill); Linda and Oliver Siebrecht (nephew Bill McIsaac); Bobbie Hietanen and Kai Schult (niece Kristina Manuel / nephew Erik Mueller); Bill Wade and Linda Calder (nephew Dayan Wade-Calder); and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Richard spent the majority of his adult life in Winnipeg and specialized in executive sales and services for companies, e.g., Flo-Crest and ThermalTech Imaging.

He loved all things to do with sports and the outdoors (fishing / camping / scuba) and was an avid Bombers and Jets fan.

In as much as Richard loved his immediate family, he also generously shared his heart and fun-loving nature with many, many friends in and around St. Boniface and the Winnipeg area.   He also spent years overseas in Iran, Israel and the UK, where undoubtedly many people will have fond memories of this very kind and generous man.

Rest well, and in peace Richard.   We love you brother.

Just taking time to rewatch the memories videos and so thankful for the time we all took to honour my brother.  Missing him particularly today - not sure why - it just comes in these ripples and waves.  Shout out to my sisters and brothers Kai and Oliver ... and of course brother Richard who knows more than I can even think or imagine about the important things in this life and the next. ❤

Rest easy Uncle D. I'm so sorry that so many years have passed without having the opportunity to see each other again. While you will always live on in our hearts and memories, I hope that you are reunited with Nanny and Poppy and that you are at peace. Condolences and much love to my Wade family. XO Kristina
