ROBERT WARREN

January 29, 1959 – November 24, 2025

Peacefully, in the early morning hours of November 24, Rob passed away at the palliative care unit in St. Boniface Hospital.

Rob was born and raised in Beausejour, Manitoba where he met his future wife, Sandy. Their journey together brought two beautiful children into the world; son Michael and daughter Christie.

Following Rob's university days, he embarked in careers first in banking and then in public service. He retired in 2012, which allowed him to focus fully on his love of music - a theme present for most of his life that brought him immense pleasure.   He was a born entertainer at heart and not only mastered the keyboards but took up guitar to further enhance his musical talents.

The family would like to thank the staff at St Boniface and Riverview hospitals for their care of Rob. A heartfelt thank you to Rob’s good friend Gord Thome, whose compassion and caring of Rob and support to his family was immeasurable.

Cremation has taken place and no memorial service will be held. A private family interment will be held at a future date.

a great friend. We were almost like brothers hanging out most days outside playing music and enjoying the weather. He will be missed. His spirit is still with me.

To my Warren cousins, to Sandy, my deepest sympathy. I will remember Rob fondly from our times together at many family gatherings and parties of days way behind us now. Peace be with you, as it is now with Robert.
