MICHAEL WATCHER

With heavy hearts, we announce that Mike Watcher  passed away on August 23, 2021 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 47 years.  After a short unexpected battle with cancer, he bravely kept his dignity while comforting his family and friends.

He is survived by his Step Father Walter Skinner (Bud), his sister Rae and his 2 nieces Danielle and Riley.  Mike will be greatly missed by his family and friends as well as his beloved dogs.  Mike was employed by Consolidated Fast Freight for 28 years; first as a semi driver, ending his career as a supervisor. 

Mike had a giant heart he was very kind and considerate, always putting others before himself.  He was a father figure for his 2 nieces and would make their dreams come true every year at Christmas and birthdays.  He was there great protector they just had to call and Uncle Mike would save the day.  He also took care of Bud(86) after his mother passed away. 

Mike always had a thing for big trucks. He just bought his dream, a 2021 Silverado which he loved to drive, taking his beloved dogs for runs.  He loved Mafia movies as well as tv shows.  He left a huge  collection of well cared for suspense novels.  He spent many hours watching movies with his nieces, from Pixar, to comedies. 

He will be missed and not forgotten by all who knew him.
