ARTHUR WATSON

July 23, 1948 - November 16, 2023

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Arthur, a cherished member of our community and a beloved figure in our lives.

Born in D'Abadie, Trinidad and Tobago, Arthur brought his vibrant spirit to Canada in 1975, enriching our community ever since. A skilled welder by trade, he dedicated many years of his life to Versatile, where his work was not just a job, but a craft he performed with diligence and pride.

Arthur's zest for life was evident in his varied passions. He was an enthusiastic soccer player and coach, imparting his love for the game to many. His hobbies were diverse and fulfilling, from the quiet patience of fishing to the lively competitiveness of playing pool and poker. His love for music was just as eclectic, spanning genres from rap to jazz, each tune reflecting a different facet of his vibrant personality.

More than anything, Arthur was a man of the people. His love for family and friends was immense, and he had the rare ability to light up a room with his presence. His smile was infectious, his laughter contagious, and his jokes a source of joy for all who knew him.

Arthur leaves behind a legacy of laughter, camaraderie, and an unwavering sense of community. His absence has left a void in our hearts, but his spirit remains with us in every shared memory and story.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. We will soon gather to celebrate Arthur's life, a fitting tribute to a man who cherished every moment. We invite you to share your pictures, memories, and stories in the comment section, as we collectively remember and honor a life well-lived.

Arthur, you are profoundly missed, but your legacy continues in the hearts of those you've touched.

Arthur was a very kind, warm and cheerful soul... and even though I didn't get to see him often, when I did see him, it was always a pleasure. Both he and Lynn always treated me with kindness, and from the time I first met them when I was a 16 year-old, always made me feel welcome in their home. I will never forget that. So many years since then, it is heartbreaking to know Arthur's moved on ahead of us, but comforting to know that we'll all meet up again in the presence of our Lord Jesus. May he rest in Heavenly Peace. To Lynn, Clinton, and all of your Family, please accept my deepest condolences as I send my love and prayers your way.
