DAVID WILLIAM WATT

August 19, 1942 – August 23, 2022

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved stepfather and grandfather on August 23, 2022 after fighting a long battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his wife Cecile Watt of 42 years; father James Watt; mother Nancy Moffit; stepfather Bruce; sister Dorothy Lana; brother Bob; and great granddaughter Nevaeh Bear/Dunkley.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter Carol (Norm); stepson Robert Keeper Sr. (Terry) and Lorraine Nault; grandchildren Byron (Chelsea), Robert Jr., Kandi (Jeff) Brooks, Franklin Keeper, Jamie (Gary Fetterly); great grandchildren, Anthony, Nevaeh, and Thea; in-laws, Leo & Linda Delorme, Dorothy & Frank Swain, Emile & Elsie, Lorraine & Raymond Sabansky, Viola & Morris Swain; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dave was a very kind and funny man; he would always make people laugh and always had a joke to tell. He had many jobs throughout his life. He worked in the mines in Red Lake, Ontario, he was an upholsterer, a truck driver, and loved to go junking. He was a dedicated man with a laugh to match his love for life and family.

Dave enjoyed bowling, football, and hockey, but most of all, he was committed to helping his grandchildren, who he loved to the fullest.

Please join us at the Northwood community Centre, 1415 Burrows Avenue, on September 24, 2022 between 1 and 4pm to Celebrate Dave's Life.

Sadly missed, never forgotten
