It genuinely hurts my heart very much to see that wonderful smiling face in this picture, knowing no one will hear that fabulous Whitney laugh from him again. He was my brother-in-law for years & he never failed to make me, or my kids smile with his jokes, sarcasm, that classic laugh & his awesome guitar playing. I have so many fond memories I will never forgoet - he was a legend! Sending my sincerest condolences & lots of love to all of the family, & I hope all the good memories provide some comfort at this time.

My heartfelt sympathies to Bev , Patrick,Colin Michelle Daryl spouses and grandchildren. Mitch was a down to earth person with a great sense of humour and his laugh was infectious. I have many memories of Mitch and Phyllis . Many parties ,work Socials and Mitch playing guitar in my back yard or just hanging out at their place they always made you feel welcome. Mitch and Phyllis will always have a special place in my heart.

Mitch joined Interprovincial co-op as a supervisor way-back years ago.. He was an interesting guy from the start. I was his supervisor at the time and he immediately struck me as someone to watch. Believe me, he didn't take long to impress me with his skills at human mgt. and plant manufacturing know how. He kept me in wonder at what other talents he had. It didn't take a whole lot of time before I found out he was a heck of a prankster. There was a co-worker of mine that was in the washroom when a lit firecracker went under the door and literraly scard the s___ out of him. Then when Mitch was not happy with the speed of procedures because production was affected the guy responsible had a mouse on a string hanging over his desk. The last event I remember was when Mitch decided to hand brush paint a friend's hubcaps with flourescent orange paint, just because. This is only a small sample of the fun I had knowing Mitch. On a serious note I want to acknowledge the pride I have in his dedication to his job, his respect to his peers and subordinates, and his everlasting love of his family.

Bye Mitch. We will miss you.

I wasn't close to my cousin, Mitch but I was chosen to be the sitter to his two wonderful children, Daryl and Michelle whom I was close to. I send my deepest sympathies to all the family, especially to my aunt Bev.

Mitch was my cousin and we enjoyed good times together as teenagers when he moved to Winnipeg. We rode our motorcycles and went fishing and camping together. I worked with him at Robinson and Weber during one summer. We reconnected in the last few years when he rode his motorcycle west to "see the big trees". It was good to see him enjoying his cabin, and fishing and golfing. Thx for being part of my life Mitch.

Deepest to Darryll and Michele and their families. I worked with Mitch at IPCO and I always thought he was a fair guy until I got to know him better outside of work. We used to go over and play cards with him and Phylis and had a great time. I remember when we travelled in two cars Deadwood South Dakota and had so much fun. Rest in peace.

Although I didn't know Mitch well ,

The conversations I did have with him and Phylis were down to earth snd friendly.

The last time we spoke , he had come back from the Black Hills of South Dakota, He said What beautiful country it was.
