It is heartbreaking to say goodbye. You have taught us well, and we are ever so grateful for the time we had together. You will be missed more than words can describe.

You were a wonderful husband, a caring and loving father, and a devoted son to your parents. For all who knew you a selfless and faithful friend, and maker of the best pecan pies.

I reflect on how Rick and I first came to meet, and how we managed to turn that into the friendship.   Rick was competitive and held himself to a high standard.   I considership myself as being the lucky one to have had the pleasure of sharing a lot of special times together with Rick.  Whether we got together to chat, or if we met at the courts, whether Rick was playing or whether Rick was working with the juniors, Rick always made time for me.    Rick as is so often said, and to often to late, Rick thank you for being the friend that you always were!    Thanks for all the good times.   I will always treasure the friendship!
