PAUL DOUGLAS DENNIS JOSEPH WIENS

It is with heavy hearts that we advise of the sudden and very tragic passing of Paul Wiens, a dedicated soul mate, father, grandfather, son, and friend to many, at the age of 53. While riding a side-by-side machine in the RM of Reynolds, his life was cut short by a branch sticking out in the trail, which tragically impaled him. Paul’s life was spent making people laugh, he loved to entertain, and he will be so missed by all who knew him.

Paul leaves to mourn his passing, his life-partner Veronica Benoit; son Myles (Brianne) Stoesz and their children Phaetyn, Ivory, and Wilde; daughter Chantelle (Favio) Dueck and their son Malachi; stepsons Conrad (Megan) Benoit and their sons Kellan, Karson, and Kade (on the way), and Brandon (Jennifer) Dolenuck; father Earl (Lisa) Wiens; stepbrothers Chris (Tanya) Knelsen, Vince (Amanda) Knelsen, and Dustin Knelsen; stepsister Felecia (Jason) Knelsen; sister Debbie (Murray) Penner; numerous family, lifelong friends, and anyone who had a minute to get to know this amazing man. Paul was predeceased by his mother Marie Wiens (née Pelland) in 2017.
