SHARON LOUISE WIGGETT

February 3, 1951 – August 25, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Louise Wiggett on August 25, 2024, at the age of 73. Born February 3, 1951, to Irene (Arnal) and Allan Wiggett, Sharon was the oldest of four children.

Sharon began her working career as a bartender and spent 20 years mixing drinks. Numerous years employed at the Montcalm Hotel gave her countless friendships that provided so many great memories. In 1989 Sharon began working for the Manitoba Wildlife Federation. During her 30-year career with the Federation, Sharon formed lasting friendships with many of the members and executives. She was always excited about the Convention which made for good times with her friends and colleagues. Sharon was especially grateful for the opportunity to work for MWF. In her own words, “The best job and the best people ever.”

Sharon is survived by her brothers, Ross Wiggett (Carol) and Dean Kuhl (Karen); nephews, Riley (Sharna) and Jeff (Amanda); and her great-niece Parker Grace Wiggett.

Predeceased by her mother Irene Kuhl; stepfather Bruno Kuhl; father Allan Wiggett; and brother Dale Kuhl.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Sharon’s family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Sorry to hear about my dear cousin. We started reconnecting 5 years ago and had many laughs when going out for lunches.

Rest in peace Sharon!
