VICTORIA (VIKKI) ROSE MARIE WINTERPEARCE
June 2, 1963 - June 17, 2025
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Victoria (Vikki) Winter Pearce on June 17, 2025 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Vikki is lovingly remembered by her husband Bill, sisters Geraldine (Lyle) Beuckx and Lisa (Bradley) Howardson, sister-in-law Ingrid (Jack) Pearce, brothers-in-law Jim (Sharon) Pearce and Jeff (Cindy) Pearce and all their families. She will be missed by her very good friends Andrew, Nancy and Craig Stahlke. Her little Pug, Louis, will miss his Momma.
Vikki was predeceased by her parents, Leslie and Elizabeth Kollar, in-laws Robert and Elizabeth Pearce, brother-in-law Jack Pearce and nephew Jay Pearce.
Vikki grew up in Petersfield, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg as a young girl and attended St. Mary's Academy. Vikki married Kurt Winter in 1983 and they shared 14 wonderful years together. Sadly, Kurt passed away in 1997. Vikki was lucky enough to find love again and married Bill in 2000. The two of them spent the next 25 years happily living in their Fort Garry home surrounded by the Pug puppies she loved so much.
If you met Vikki you never forgot her. She had a big, beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. She was friendly and outgoing and always took time to ask how you and your family were doing. She took a sincere interest in getting to know all the people she met throughout her life. Vikki will be greatly missed by her many friends and colleagues from her years working at the Grant Park Co-op Store and from her years in the hospitality industry.
Vikki loved music, all genres, but had a particular fondness for rock and roll. There was many a time when she would phone her brother-in-law, Jack, late at night, asking if he remembered this or that song or band because she had just been listening to one of their albums.
Vikki believed in living life to the fullest and spreading love and laughter to the world around her. Vikki's warmth and joy will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Bill would like to extend his sincere thanks and appreciation to their good friend, Andrew, who spent the last six months that Vikki was in hospital, by her side and supporting Bill through this difficult time.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 9, 2025 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Winnipeg, 603 Wellington Crescent.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kat's Kritters Rescue, Box 18, Homewood, MB R0G 0Y0. Please see their website for more information, katskrittersmb.com.
Vikki family kindly requests that all of her friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour her memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.

Vikki was a bright light in our lives ever since she joined our cousin family as a two year old all those years ago. She spent many summers with Ernie, the boys and I and became one of the family. I'm sure that she and Ernie are up to some shananigans up in the Heavens. Probably doing a little fishing too.
Rest in Peace dear Vikki.

Vikki was married to my cousin Bill. From the first family gathering, we loved Vikki and her fun loving and contagious laugh. She made the world a better place by her genuine interest and care for others. My brother Rob loved getting together with Bill & Vikki, sharing drinks and Rob and Bill telling shannigans and farm stories. We felt truly blessed to have Vikki as part of our family. Cheers tp you Vikki and may you and Rob be enjoying a "wee drink" together until we meet again. Love Eileen & Rocky

I worked with Vicki for many years at Safeway,-Co-op.She always had the best announcements .One time she asked for a gun in the bakeshop . I went to the bakeshop and asked if she was all right. If a customer was giving her a hard time. She said she was ok ,but when I repeated what she said . We started laughing because she forgot to ask for a pricing gun not a gun .Oh we laughed so hard we had tears rolling down our cheeks . I will remember Vicki 's infectious laugh and her big Smile When I retired I would stop in to chat with Vicki at our store and she always asked how the family was doing . I will miss her smiling face . R.I.P VICKI . May you dance with the dragonflies and talk to the moon 🌙

I had the pleasure of working with Vikki at Red River Co-op. She was always pleasant and happy...a true gem! Her PA announcements were the best!! She will be missed by all her co-workers.

I took care of Vikki during her stay at the hospital.
It makes me so sad to hear of her passing.
I am glad I was able to care for her and get to know her.
Im also glad Luna (dog) was able to meet her and make her smile.
She will be missed.
