RANDY YOUNG

August 27, 1954 - June 18, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Young at Grace Hospital at the age of 67.

Randy is survived by his brothers, Terry (Sharon) and Craig (Jill); sisters, Linda and Lisa (George); his best friend Don; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his friends at 170 Hendon Avenue where he resided for many years. Randy was predeceased by his father Philip; his mother Alice; and his sister Lori.

Randy retired from the restaurant service industry where he worked very hard for many years washing dishes, and doing general cleanup. The “Clawmaster” was an avid wrestling fan who seldom missed televised wrestling events. He also was a devoted Blue Bomber fan as well as a Winnipeg Jets fan. In this regard he took after his father Philip and his brother Terry both of whom he was very close to. Randy excelled at bowling and won numerous bowling league trophies over the years. He also loved family gatherings and fishing trips to Lake St George with his father and his two brothers. Family Christmas parties were his favourite. He got to tease all his nephews and nieces and often dressed up as Santa. Another favourite pastime was camping trips with his buddy Don.

Randy was a kind, fun loving guy who had a heart of gold. He will be missed by all who knew him!

A service will not be held, a family gathering will be planned in the future. In the meantime, Randy's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.
