MARIE BERNICE ZADRAVEC

It is with great sadness, the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved Marie Bernice Zadravec (née Halpin) on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at the age of 79 years.

Marie is survived by her loving son Steven; daughter Tina; grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, and Levon. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles Leo Halpin and Kathleen Victoria (née Ritcott); daughter Teresa; and her husband Stjepan.

Marie was born and raised in Winnipeg. She came from a large family, which included her brothers, Davin, Charles, and Russel; sisters, Eileen, Marlene, Kathleen, Patricia, Gail, Karen, Wendy, Roseanne, Darlene, Ava, and Charlene. She also had many nieces and nephews.

Marie spent most of her life living in Winnipeg. She also lived in Calgary and Vancouver for periods of time. She worked as a seamstress, making curtains and drapes. She also worked as an LPN in Vancouver.

Marie always had a song in her heart. Her favourite pastime was drinking tea with her siblings and talking for hours. She loved going out to play Bingo. She enjoyed knitting and crochet, loved to read true detective magazines, and the National Enquirer.

Marie will be sadly missed but will rest easy at Brookside Cemetery, along side her family members.
