RONALD HENRY ZIEGLER

Ron passed away peacefully, in his home, surrounded by family on January 14, 2019.

Dad leaves to mourn his wife Debbie; two children Ciara and Christopher; sisters Nancy (Mike), Kathy (Uwe), and Christine (Danny); also brothers Danny (Kathy) and Robbie.

​

Ron was predeceased by his parents Marjorie and Robert; as well as by his brother Timmy.

Dad was born in Kitchener, Ontario and moved to Winnipeg with the love of his life, Debbie, 34 years ago.

​

Dad was in the grocery business for most of his life, working in both sales and meat cutting. He was the best husband and father you could ever ask for. He grew up with a love of sports, playing baseball, hockey, and football. He passed this love of sports onto his children, taking them to early morning practices and being at every single game, rain or shine.

​

Ron could light up a room with his humour and silly antics. He will be missed dearly!

​

As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service.

​

He never looks for praises

He’s never one to boast

He just goes on quietly working
