It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Avory on March 3, 2023, at the age of 23.

 

She leaves behind her precious children, Navayah, age 4, and Landynn, age 2. They were the love of her life and she wanted the best possible future for them.

 

Avory will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her mother Vanessa (Jason); father Joseph Langford; siblings, Shayleece, Ashlynn, Malaya, Jessie, Cecilia, and Joseph; grandparents, Deborah & Ken and Albeiro & Victoria; many aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as her special friends Avery, and Janet & Jay.

 

Avory was born and raised in Winnipeg. As a young child she loved to entertain others by singing and dancing by herself or with her younger sisters. In her youth she was active in several sports, including basketball, swimming, hockey and kick boxing.

 

Avory had a flair for fashion and was very creative. She cooked many gourmet meals and was happy to share a sample of her cooking.

 

Avory had a strong personality and a huge heart, and touched many people in her lifetime. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. She loved animals, and her dog Roxy was dedicated to and protective of Avory and the kids. Avory is together again with her beloved Roxy.

 

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life was held with family and close friends on March 30, 2023.
