SARAH CHANTEL TOWNSEND

November 28, 1981 - February 2, 2022

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dear daughter and sister, Sarah Chantel Townsend. She left us very unexpectedly but peacefully on February 2, 2022 at the age of 40, thirty years past her due date. Sarah is survived by her mom (Marion) and dad (Bruce); sister (Jessie) and brother (Danny & Renée); and most importantly her cats; JD, Ozzy and Picasso.

 

When Sarah was 7yrs-old she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and this changed her life forever. She was not expected to live past 10yrs-old. She battled for her entire life and fought so hard every single day.  Despite everything, she was forever grateful for the life she was given.

 

Sarah was a social butterfly. No matter what age, how rich or poor, she never judged, ever.  She was your friend and she loved you. She was FULL of love and did everything and anything for anyone. 

 

Sarah LOVED music, had dreams of travelling to Hawaii and her favorite past time was cross-stitching. She loved watching hockey (especially when it was her brother playing). She was all about the colour purple, Kermit The Frog, spring, insects and swimming at the beach. We could go on and on and on…however, as per her request -- "keep it short."

 

Sarah, we love you to the moon and back and forever and ever and ever, beyond measure.
