LIONEL ("LEO") VIVIER

July 23, 1947 - July 12, 2022

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel (Leo) Vivier of Winnipeg on July 11, 2022, at the age of 74, due to a long-term battle with COPD and other ailments.

He is survived by his two children Quentin (Debbie) and Jessie (Shane), his two grandchildren Cody and Taylor Kasha, half-sister Helen Vivier, his close care givers and friends Angel and Illia, former wives Liana Vivier (Parsons), and Marlene Kryschuk (Vasas) as well and numerous extended family.

Leo was predeceased by both his parents Alec Vivier and Denise Greaves (Paul), sister Jeanette Johnson, and half-sister Noella Lorteau.

Leo loved his children and his grandchildren and always looked forward to speaking with or visiting with them when he had the chance. Leo loved fishing and being outdoors, he was a quiet kind man who lived his life the way he wanted. He will be remembered fondly with warm smiles and happy hearts.

In respecting our father’s final wishes, he was cremated and laid to rest with his beloved dog, Sadie. No service will be held.

Leo's family kindly requests that all of his friends and relatives take a few minutes to honour his memory by sharing photos, memories, and stories, using the comment section on this page.
