With broken hearts the Family of Neil Richard Waters announce his passing on January 19, 2021 at Health Science Center

Neil is survived by his children, Bryan (Lana) and Shelley (Rick), and his grandchildren, Cody and Jada. Neil was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Mary Waters as well as his brother John.

​

Neil worked for the city of Winnipeg in the parks and recreation department for more then 30 years, and enjoyed many years of retirement.

​

In his younger years he enjoyed spending time at the strawberry farm in Elma, Manitoba as well as the occasional fly in fishing trip. During his time with the City of Winnipeg he also enjoyed Rec League Hockey. One of his highlights was his Road trip with the Elma Clan to Alaska.

​

One of his many pass times was his daily morning and afternoon coffee with friends. He would often dog sit for various family members. He also loved to turn a 2 minute story into a half hour adventure.
